How to Make Your Computer Run Faster

If you are having problem with your computer speed and script errors, here is a few things that you can do to increase the speed and performance of your computer.

  Click Start, Control Panel, Power Options (or depending on your pc, it may be listed as Power Management), on the left hand side, click "Create a power plan", Select Option 3 : "High Performance", Customise according to your need, Its easy, The settings you need to change is "Plugged In",  Select "Never" on all the 3 options under "Plugged In", The "On Battery" options should be about 5 minutes for Dim The Display", 10 minutes for "Turn Off The Display", and Never for "Put The Computer To Sleep", While you are using your pc where there's main, have it plugged in because High Performance settings eats up power, faster, When you are out and about and away from mains, have it charged in the car, if you have the right adaptor or you can use pocket-size solar-powered charger.

  While you are online, use Google Chrome browser. Yes, Chrome. Try it. I find it faster than the other browsers. Their browser addons are really useful, too.

  MsConfig: Click Start, Inside the "Search programs and files", type, msconfig, remove programs which you don't need them to start at each time you start your pc.

  Disk Clean Up: Click Start, Accessories, System Tools, Disk Cleanup, Select Drive C.
• 
  
  Disk Defragmentation: Click Start, Accessories, System Tools, Disk Defragmenter.
• 
  
  Empty recycle bin.
• 
  
  Ctrl + G, Delete history on Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, and on whatever browser that you use.
